Christina Hodnet

(West & Texas)
Christina Hodnet captures moments that are alive with emotion. Her insightful, honest, and uniquely authentic work is infused with romance and sweetness, the unconditional love of a parent, the genuine affection between friends, and the curious wonder of a young child. Her artist’s eye, spirit as a woman, and patience as a mother allow her to create and capture the innocent nuances of children, babies, teens, parents, family life, and fashion. She loves to expose the beautifully awkward and imperfect reality of life in a way that is both enriching and endearing. She seeks out and creates the space for the small nuances that make a moment unique. “I’m interested in the moment in between the moments,” she says. “The photo you don’t post because it’s not perfect, but in reality is more representational of your life and, therefore, more truthful and more charming than the perfect one.” Christina has worked around the world to create beautiful, heart-felt films for clients from Asia, South America, North America, Europe, and everywhere in between. Christina splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles with her feature film director husband, two children, one large dog named Orvis, and a covid inspired rescue dog that has turned out to be more of a dingo/fox mix than dog.
